THE TRAVELER
THE TRAVELER
Jerry Bellamy finally marks his return to the music scene with his brand new album, THE TRAVELER, release on Saturday March 23, 2024
Preceded by the single For All You Bikers, a roaring ode to motorcycles that summons memories of the Rolling Stones of 1973 and almost all Hard Rock bands of the 70’s, THE TRAVELER is once again produced by Geyster, who also performs about all keyboards arrangements.
Taking up the formula of the previous record, i.e. stacks of state of the art vocal harmonies on top of lyrical guitar flights and supported by virtuoso keyboards, the record is loaded with potential hits, cut out for FM radios and the Classic Rock scene.
Rolling The Dice
In turn, laidback in the great tradition of the masters of the genre (songs such as Shake It Up, Sunday Evening and Your Life, particulary), but also highly energetic – if not adrenalized ! – (The Drug, Stand Tall, Hard), Jerry Bellamy’s guitar licks claimed atmospheric ambiances just as much (Anna, Fly). Add a voice that owed a lot to David Bowie when exploring a more sentimental register (We Had It All), and Bellamy ended up connecting the Soft Rock spirit of the 70’s to modern sound, servicing various and passionate songs.

Video-Clip
Ultra sexy, naughty and not devoid of offbeat humor, the Shake It Up music video has arrived. Directed by Walter N. and in front of the camera, two Marc Dorcel muses: Anna Polina & Lucy Heart, at the heart of a setting that some will recognize. The guitars meow, the singers tease a visibly concerned Jerry!
